A panel on interracial relationship and the power of love attracted more than 100 people Wednesday night to University Hall.

Presented by the Mixed Race Student Coalition that created within the autumn, the panel showcased Asian American Studies and African American Studies Prof. Nitasha Sharma, PhD prospect Kareem Khubchandani and marriage that is professional household therapist Jakara Hubbard.

Medill sophomore Kalina Silverman and SESP sophomore Tori Marquez, the co-presidents of MIXED, moderated the discussion before enabling the audience to ask some questions.

The dialogue started with a discussion on interracial dating and Hubbard pressing on her behalf experience as being a woman that is biracial outside her cultural background. Sharma identified data that showed the instability of wedding habits between people of different events.
